BEDFORD, TX – Zingerz Comedy Club, Dallas/Fort Worth’s Only Family-Friendly Comedy Club, is pledging 100% of their January comedy show net proceeds to the DFW Red Cross to help victims of the recent North Texas tornadoes.  With two sold out shows in January so far, Zingerz Comedy Club is hoping to sell out the remainder of their January Clean Improv Comedy Shows (1/22, 1/23, 1/29, 1/30) to raise as much money as possible for those still being affected by this disaster.
 
Unlike traditional comedy clubs, Zingerz Comedy Club has no age restrictions (although the show is recommended for those 7 & Up), does not serve alcohol, and provides a bright friendly environment.  Zingerz’ pricing structure is also more family-friendly as it resembles a movie theater more than a comedy club, with discounts available for Children, Students, Seniors, and Heroes (Military, Veterans, Police, Fire).  Similar to other comedy clubs, Zingerz does have a minimum food purchase requirement ($5 per person - instead of the comedy club standard ‘2-Item Minimum’).  A dinner menu and concession style snack offerings are available at every show.  

In Zingerz’ Clean Improv Comedy Show, performers act out skits and play quick-fire games of wit with no scripts or preparation.  Everything is made up, right on the spot, based purely on audience suggestions. Like the hit TV show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” the Zingerz ‘PlayerZ’ partake in random games and invite audience members on stage to join the fun, all while keeping the comic material clean enough for the entire family to enjoy.  Every show is different, as the audience is in control of what happens on stage.
